In April 2010 I ran 156 miles across the Sahara Desert in 50 degrees celcius heat with a 15kg pack on my back in the Marathon Des Sables dubbed the "toughest footrace on earth". When I came to Mike my core strength and upper body was poor and I needed to get results fast. My personal sessions with Mike 3 months before the event enabled me to gain the core fitness and stability to finish in the desert. Mike's 1:1 circuit training was original and kept my training interesting. Mike also built me an excellent nutrition plan to fuel me through my ultra run events. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to improve their fitness quickly, anyone looking for calm reassurance when training hard.

A note on Rich – Rich came to me as an experienced long distance runner, but like he said, his upper body, core strength and muscular endurance needed some improvement. After 3 months of training and dieting, Rich completed his ultra marathon. I can only imagine how tough this was. Well done Rich, you trained really hard, and put everything into it. A great effort.
