ABOUT ME

It's easy to find yourself spending countless hours in the gym, working on machines, and feeling that you are achieving very little. Maybe you have hit a plateau, got bored with your programme, and are losing motivation because you don't seem to be getting anywhere, however hard you work... Does that sound familiar?

Or perhaps you have tried every diet and fitness regime in the book, made a lot of effort, started to get somewhere, and found yourself slipping back into old habits?

As a personal trainer I get to put my passion for health and fitness into my work, meeting great people and helping them to achieve their goals in terms of healthy lifestyle, weight management, fitness levels and muscle gain.

My first 2 years as a Personal Trainer were as a freelance trainer at a gym in London. Whilst I was in London, I got to meet some fantastic people. I loved working with all of them, helping them to enjoy their exercise and meet their goals. The only downside was that I was based in the same gym all the time. This meant that whilst I could vary workouts to keep clients interested and motivated, there was no variation in our training locations.

I firmly believe that training in different environments makes the exercise much more enjoyable, and in turn provides faster results. I look forward to every session I do with a client, knowing we are going to work hard, have fun, and make progress towards their goals.

Through my qualifications, research, and working with clients, I have gained experience and knowledge that means I can help you achieve any goal you set for yourself. Whilst I specialize in training for fat loss and athletic performance, I can also help you move better, get stronger, treat lower back pain, have more energy, and generally feel fitter, healthier, and better about yourself. With advice on diet and nutrition to complement exercise, you have a fully rounded package of support.

My own exercise interests are quite varied. I love weightlifting, and one of my goals for this year is to compete in a powerlifting meet. I am also a keen 5 and 10km runner, having competed in several local races. I’m a huge fan of kettlebells, and pretty much any other training that’s fun and gets results. I believe that experimenting with new routines and equipment keeps you fresh, increases the enjoyment you get from exercise, and therefore spurs you on to greater results.

We can train outside - where you get the benefit of fresh air instead of a gym atmosphere, in your home, or in a gym – it’s up to you. All you have to do is turn up – I’ll bring all the equipment with me.

I'm happy to work with individuals, pairs or groups, so if you want the company of friends, and to share the cost, that's fine by me. And if you can persuade your company to provide a facility or some outside space, I can run a group session in a lunchtime or before or after work to cater to everyone’s’ needs, that’s guaranteed to be effective and fun.

Just contact me to have a talk about what I can do for you. What have you got to lose?!
